The Yates home is nestled in the trees on a wooded .79 acre lot. The unassuming front exterior leads you into multiple entertaining areas include a formal dining room, a game room and a den with a kitchenette. The home’s unique architecture allows for vaulted ceilings, skylights and walls of windows overlooking the grounds which it feel open and airy, while hardwood floors and existing built-ins and oak paneling make it feel warm and welcoming. The secluded private back yard has a large native stone patio with a gunite swimming pool.
Purchased in April 2015, the property underwent a major interior renovation gutting the kitchen and bathrooms as well as updating its interior aesthetics with fresh paint, new flooring, unique lighting and interesting hardware.
The exterior was updated with a new color scheme, garage doors and lighting. Future plans include exterior of the property, with an emphasis on repairing some of the property’s hardscape and restoring the landscape with a colorful, natural feel.
Stronghold NWA completed the updates to the home, with all selections for the property chosen by the homeowner. Many of the décor and furnishings were purchased at various flea markets and antique stores around the Northwest Arkansas Area.
