Training Manger – Kelsey Tapp

Kelsey Tapp moved to Northwest Arkansas ten years ago to attend the University of Arkansas.  When not serving the League, I can be found on the lake, in a side by side on a trail, spending time with close friends and family, all with my tea cup yorkie, Murphy, boyfriend Josh, and his little girl Caroline in tow!

Kelsey grew up in Russellville Arkansas until moving to NWA to attend college where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Apparel.  She works Intradeco Apparel, overseeing all the quality testing for Walmart Apparel while also working in Product Development. Prior to Intradeco, she worked in Product Development with Better Homes & Gardens.

Kelsey has been a member of the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas since 2012.  She served on the SOS committee after her provisional year.  Transferring to SOS Vice Chair halfway through the year led to her first role in leadership with the League.  This was followed by That’s My Bag Vice Chair, Advisory and Planning Vice Chair, and Chair of Membership Outreach, Recruitment, and Engagement.

Kelsey has had the pleasure of heading up the volunteer department through her employer, Intradeco. This has given Kelsey the chance to work closely with The Boy’s and Girl’s Club, NWA Children’s Shelter, and the Rampy MS Foundation. Outside of work, the League has opened the door for Kelsey to be a part of the EOA Children’s House Summer Salsa Committee. Kelsey’s experience in the League has been a stepping stone into wonderful organizations within the community.

The Junior League has been a passion since day one that has opened the door to many other organizations in the community who need helping hands. Fulfilling the needs of the League, League partners, and others in the community is a driving force behind the heart and soul put into making our community a better place!
