Brooke Willis, Vice President of Development

Brooke Willis returned to Northwest Arkansas 5 years ago and lives with her husband, Austin in Rogers, AR. Also living with her are her two sweet dogs, a miniature pincher named Scarlett and a Jack Russell named Lou Dog. In her spare time, Brooke enjoys reading, concerts, and travel.

Brooke grew up and graduated from high school in Texarkana, Texas. She then attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she obtained her BS in Retail Marketing. After graduating in 2008, Brooke began her retail career at Dillard’s home office in Little Rock, Arkansas as a part of the Executive Development Program. She had experience as both an assistant buyer in the Juniors Department, as well as department manager experience at the Rogers, AR location.  In 2014, Brooke moved to New York City to fulfill her dreams of living there, and working for clothing retailer, Free People on the Upper East Side. In 2015, she moved back to Northwest Arkansas, first working for Walmart Corporate in buying for OTC products, then managed local clothing boutique, E.Leigh’s for 3 three years. She now works for Levi Strauss and Co. as a wholesale account associate, supporting the sales team for the Walmart account.

Brooke joined the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas with 2017-2018 New Member Class as a part of the blue group. She then served as a Provisional Group leader of the Green Group, Vice Chair, then Chair of the Volunteer Action Committee for the 2018-2020 league years. She attended ODI (Organizational Development Institute) in Fall 2019 and her interest in leadership grew. Brooke is now slated to become the Development Manager for the 2020-2021 league year.

Joining the Junior League was a way for her to find volunteer opportunities in the community and find a way to give back. She has found a passion for supporting the shelters and children’s services in the community through That’s My Bag and departure packs. The league has been a great source for friendship and mentorship for Brooke, as well as facilitating leadership opportunities, and inspiring confidence.
