Melissa Santos is a Northwest Arkansas native. She graduated from Springdale High School in 2001 and went onto Northwest Arkansas Community College and eventually to the University of Arkansas. She married her childhood sweetheart, Eric, and moved with him to Dallas to further his education.
She has worked as an Associate Manager at Walmart and as a Branch Manager at Bank of America in Little Rock. While in Little Rock Melissa and her husband added to their family with their first child, a beautiful little girl, named Preslee. Family time became increasingly important to Melissa and her husband. Eric had received his degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic and the two came to agree that Melissa should stay home to soak up a much time with the new love of their lives as possible.
Eventually, all roads lead to home, as they say, and Eric and Melissa decided the best place for them to raise Preslee would be back in Northwest Arkansas. Together, they opened Santos Chiropractic and are blessed to help their community achieve health and wellness through chiropractic care. Along with this, they’ve added a baby boy, Griffin, and two dogs to their family, the boy being the wildest of the bunch.
Community is a passion for Melissa. Since 2010, she has been honored to be a member of the JLNWA. In her tenure, she has served in public awareness, SOS, Placement, DVAP, and currently as a member at large. Being able to serve the area that helped make her who she is has been an invaluable experience. She is humbled by how rewarding her time with the JLNWA has been and looks forward to helping others who want to give back and help grow our organization.
