Megan Cuddy joined the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas in 2009. She served on the Marketing Committee, Education and Training Committee (2 years), Nominating and Placement Committee (2 years), Corresponding Secretary, and is currently the Board Secretary.
Megan is employed by Economic Opportunity Agency (EOA), Inc. EOA is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping low-income households in the region succeed by administering a range of programs designed to break the cycle of poverty. As Director of Advancement, Megan is responsible for moving the organization forward through fund development, special events, community outreach, marketing and public relations.
Megan grew up in Tulsa, OK and graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO with a Bachelor of Science degree. After several moves to several states, Megan with her husband Jason, moved to NWA in 2005 and Megan began working at the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce where she was responsible for managing the grant programs for the Chamber and Drug Free Rogers-Lowell. In her 8 ½ years at the Chamber, Megan obtained over 2.5 million in grant awards for Chamber programs. Megan also coordinated the Leadership Benton County Program for the Chamber.
Megan has been a certified Prevention Specialist since 2008 and she served two terms on the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council, appointed by Governor Huckabee and then again by Governor Beebe. Megan has also been a contracted grant reviewer for the state of Arkansas, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP). Megan has served on the Board of Directors for the Rogers Public Education Foundation and currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Megan and Jason have one son, Hudson and they will soon be residing in Elm Springs.
