Kara Patterson lives in Fayetteville with her husband Colby, and dog Lily. When not serving the League, she can be found practicing yoga, hiking, reading, traveling, or visiting her new niece or nephew in Missouri.
Kara grew up in Missouri, and moved to Fayetteville to attend University of Arkansas, from which she graduated in 2008. She works in transportation & logistics at Transplace 3PL.
Kara joined the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas in 2013. She has served as Serve Our Shelters / Volunteer Action Committee chair and vice chair.
Kara is very grateful for the opportunities and connections the League has given her to volunteer in her community. Kara also enjoys supporting Feed Fayetteville, Apple Seeds, and the local animal shelters.
Kara has a passion for kindness and connection. She hopes to help continue to build a community of supportive women in NWA, where we all show up for each other as women; in the League, in our neighborhood, in our work place, in our kid’s school, in our non-profits, in our gym, anywhere we go.
