Message from Our President

Welcome to the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about who we are and what we do. We are an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

For over 21 years, the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas has made their presence known in our community. We saw that domestic violence awareness and prevention was an underserved issue here in our community and thus have made it our area of focus. Our membership spends many hours each year volunteering with local shelters and service providers and supports them financially. We have worked tirelessly to bring this topic out of the shadows and start a dialogue around it.

I would be remiss to not take the time to recognize all 250 of our members and those that have served beside us in the past. Our members are a diverse group of women brought together by their common interest in and commitment to voluntarism. Without them, all the things we’ve accomplished since we started our League in 1999 would not have been possible.

You do not have to be a member of our organization to join us in our efforts. I invite you to attend our events, tell your friends and coworkers about us, become a sponsor, make a donation, and if it so moves you – become a member. Membership is open to any woman who supports our mission.

I was honored to be selected as the 2019-2021 President of our league. I look forward to the completion of my term with all the confidence in the world that we will do great things and strive to live our mission not just in our work here in the League but also in our community.

Together, we are unstoppable.

Beth Emmanuel
President 2019-2021
