Misty Bolton-Samuels is employed at the Fayetteville Police Department as a Lead Police Support Specialist. Additionally, she serves voluntarily as a Child Safety Seat Installation Technician and a former Chair of the City of Fayetteville’s Staff Senate.
Misty is also involved in the community in numerous ways. As a member of the Junior League of NWA she has served on the Board as Membership Vice-President, Community Vice-President, Chair and Vice-Chair of the Public Awareness Committee and as a New Member Trainer. She is a committee member and former Chair of the NWA Women’s Shelter’s Fresh StART Event Committee, and is on the “Go Red for Women” and Heart Ball Planning Committees for the American Heart Association. Misty donates her time and financial support to various other non-profit organizations as well. Misty is an alumna of Kappa Delta Sorority and has continued to lead and motivate both her alumnae and collegiate sisters. She served several years on the Kappa Delta Council Advisory Board as the Community Service Advisor and currently holds the Chair position on that Board. She is also the President of NWA Kappa Delta Alumnae Board.
When she is not working and/or volunteering, Misty and her husband, Malachi, frequently entertain guests at Dawn O’Malley’s, a recreational facility they have built on their property in Farmington. They also love to travel and play with their dog-children Doug, a Doberman, and Holly Beth, a Miniature Pinscher.
