Junior League of Northwest Arkansas Presented $100,000 Donation to Children's House

A local children’s charity will soon be able to increase their services thanks to a $100,000 donation from the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas. The ladies of the Junior League, through sponsorships, donations and in-kind donations, have been able to work towards giving a large and impactful gift to one of our community partners. The Children’s House, which offers therapeutic child development and crisis intervention for children 18 months to 5 years of age who have been abused and/or neglected, was recently presented with the $100,000 gift.

The gift will fund the "Literacy Center" at the Children’s House when they move to their new larger, location in Springdale. This room will house all the materials used by the instructors of Children's House. It will also be an avenue to allow the Junior League to further partner with Children's House to provide volunteer hours for League members to maintain this room with materials for the children and teachers.
